Assisted Living Medication Technician (10p-6a/Overnight)

Must have medication management experience, excellent hospitality skills, and enjoy working with seniors.Full-time: 9:45pm - 6:15am, 4 days on 2 days off, rotating scheduleResponsibilities And DutiesUnder direct supervision of an RN, is responsible for administering medications, assisting with residents’ activities of daily living, and performing other related duties as assigned.Administer routine medications per physician orders, regulations, and under the supervision of an RN.Maintain order, safety, and cleanliness.Take vital signs as indicated and/or required.Respond to nurse call bells for assistance.Assure that each resident receives the kind and amount of supervision and care required to meet basic needs.Immediately reports any change in resident’s condition to their supervisor..Chart medications as given, with signature, title and date.Assist residents with getting to and from meals and activities as needed and assigned.Responsible for adding orders to MAR and submitting lab requests.Responsible for restocking the medication carts, all medication ordered for each residentResponsible for daily maintenance and cleaning of all medication carts and medication rooms.Qualifications And SkillsAt least 1 year of medication management experience.Excellent hospitality skills, and enjoy working with seniors.BenefitsMedical, Dental, VisionEmployer paid Life InsuranceShort Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness403b Retirement Savings PlanCompetitive payPaid Time OffIf you work holidays, you earn double-time pay!Westminster is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.Westminster was named one of the TOP WORKPLACES for the past 12 years in a row by the Austin American Statesman.Powered by ExactHire: 197539
