MEP/Cx Site Superintendent

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work through collaboration, precision, and a strong commitment to excellence.Logan Pass Construction is seeking an experienced MEP/Cx Site Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale mission-critical and data center projects. This role serves as the primary on-site representative for MEP scopes and is responsible for driving safe, organized, high-quality execution from equipment receipt and installation through startup, turnover, and closeout.This role reports to the Director of MEP / Commissioning (Cx) and works closely with project management, field teams, trade partners, vendors, owners, and commissioning stakeholders to help ensure systems are installed, tracked, tested, and turned over in alignment with project requirements.OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONSField Execution & Trade Coordination (40%)Lead day-to-day MEP field execution across assigned areas, workfronts, and system priorities.Serve as Logan Pass Construction’s primary on-site representative for MEP coordination with GC site teams, trade partners, vendors, and field leadership.Coordinate delivery sequencing, equipment receipt, tagging, storage compliance, and installation readiness for major MEP assets.Identify field conflicts, constructability issues, and sequencing problems early; escalate material risks with clear recommendations.Schedule, Planning & Progress Tracking (25%)Drive short-range planning and field look-aheads in alignment with the master project schedule.Coordinate major MEP milestones, workfront readiness, and subcontractor commitments for installation, energization, and startup activities.Track field progress, open items, and execution constraints that may impact turnover dates or downstream commissioning activities.Maintain clear communication with project leadership on status, risks, and upcoming execution needs.Startup, Energization & Turnover Support (20%)Lead site coordination for startup windows, vendor activities, and turnover readiness across assigned MEP systems.Confirm field readiness for energization and startup, including installation completion, access, documentation status, and system availability.Support energization planning, LOTO coordination, and controlled execution around high-risk startup activities.Coordinate startup witnesses, documentation collection, deficiency tracking, and closeout actions required for Level 3 completion and system handoff.Safety, Quality & Documentation (15%)Help enforce site safety expectations, field quality standards, and disciplined execution practices across MEP scopes.Verify work aligns with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and project requirements.Maintain organized field documentation, issue tracking, and execution records needed to support commissioning and closeout.Support QA/QC walks, punch resolution, and field verification activities tied to system readiness.POSITION REQUIREMENTS6+ years of experience in field supervision, superintendent, or lead field execution roles within mission-critical, data center, or complex MEP/Cx construction environmentsRelated degree preferred; equivalent experience consideredStrong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, QA/QC, startup, turnover, and high-risk activities including energized work controls and LOTO planningDemonstrated experience coordinating with GC superintendents, trade partners, vendors, and client-facing project stakeholdersAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, and field documentation, and use sound judgment in fast-paced project environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and digital field / commissioning tools preferredAbility to operate independently in the field while staying aligned with project management and MEP / Cx leadershipExperience supporting mission-critical, hyperscale, colocation, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferredMilitary veteran experience in relevant leadership or technical roles is highly valuedMOBILITY REQUIREMENTSMust have a valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehiclesFull-time, daily presence at the assigned project site is expected for the duration of the projectWillingness and availability to work extended hours, weekends, and night shifts during critical construction, energization, startup, testing, and turnover windowsNorth Virginia is a priority hiring market for this roleAbility and willingness to support national project assignments and travel based on business needsTravel may occur by car or air depending on project requirementsBENEFITS PACKAGECompetitive base pay aligned with experience and project responsibilityAnnual performance-based bonus opportunityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off, company holidays, and flexible sick leaveClear paths for advancement in a growing, high-performing companyA team culture built on respect, accountability, and shared successPer diem and/or housing support for eligible travel assignmentsRelocation assistance available to relocating candidates.Professional development support (training, certifications, licensing)
