Guided by our core values of continuous improvement, integrity, selflessness, and work ethic, we are committed to delivering exceptional solutions and fostering a positive impact for our clients and team members alike.Job Description:Southern Integrated Solutions and Consulting (SISC) is searching for Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrain componentsPerform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and generatorsInspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and ensure safe operationRead and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic softwarePerform field service repairs as needed (on-site troubleshooting and breakdown response)Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performedEnsure compliance with company safety policies and MSHA regulationsWork closely with operations and field personnel to minimize equipment downtimeQualifications:Education & Experience:3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy equipmentStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnosticsExperience with CAT equipment strongly preferred (certifications a plus)Ability to use diagnostic tools and software (CAT ET or similar)Ability to read schematics and technical drawingsValid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)Ability to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:CAT certifications or dealer-level trainingExperience with brands such as CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, or HitachiWelding and fabrication experienceSoft Skills:Strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.High efficiency and time management skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbsAbility to work damp and dark environmentsCapable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working extended hours as neededBenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with employer contributions.Paid short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance benefits.Voluntary benefits.Retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.40 hours per week plus opportunity for overtimeFlexible work-hour arrangementsJ-18808-Ljbffr
