As we continue to grow, we’re looking for team members who are dedicated, reliable, and ready to contribute to a culture built on respect, opportunity, and pride in service.Position SummaryAs a member of a crew, is the point person on a site leading a team in performance of general landscaping for assigned client locations (e.g., Hedge cutting, mowing, weed whacking, sweeping, leaf/debris collection). Ensures safety regulations and company policies are followed. Works as a team member to effectively and efficiently perform work that meets contracted work orders and meets customer satisfaction. Holds landscape licenseStarting Pay: $17.0 per hourShifts Available5 am - 1:30 pmEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Team execution of duties assigned for site locationProperly clock in and out for each location as prescribed by Company policyPerform landscaping activities including but not limited to mowing, weed whacking, hedge trimming, sweeping, pruning, edging, leaf/debris waste collection and disposal, general sidewalk, walkway cleaningDuring winter/storm months: shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreadersConfirm water systems are working properly, ensuring proper irrigation, and perform general adjustments and/or report maintenance issues requiredCare for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or wallsSafely use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axesEnsure work performed covers all work outlined in the work order (contracted specifications)Trim or pick flowers and clean flower bedsFollow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliagePlant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening toolsWork as a team to perform services safely, and efficientlyFollow assigned scheduleProvide excellent customer serviceEnsure customer questions or concerns are quickly addressed through appropriate policy channelsConduct Pre and Post Trip inspections of vehicle per DOT RegulationEducational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements Experience Required3 or more years’ experience, with at least one year demonstrated progressive responsibility working in CompanyAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)Must maintain a valid clean driver’s licenseKBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks.
