Ship Spares CoordinatorWe are seeking a Ship Spares Coordinator to join our client's team full-time in an operations environment in Houston, TX near the IAH Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of critical parts, equipment, and supplies to vessels, ensuring everything arrives on time to support ongoing operations and prevent delays.This is a fast-paced role that requires strong coordination, communication, and attention to detail, as shipments are often time-sensitive and tied to vessel schedules.Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours (flexibility required based on operational demands)Full-time, direct hire (not a temporary position)Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate the delivery of parts, equipment, and supplies to vessels within strict timelines• Communicate with vendors, clients, and third-party providers to arrange transportation and delivery logistics• Track shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring alignment with vessel schedules• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including compliance and delivery requirements• Coordinate pickups and deliveries to and from ports, warehouses, and other facilities• Act as the main point of contact between all parties to ensure smooth and timely execution• Proactively identify and resolve delays or issues, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process• Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and communications• Assist with export shipments and ensure required documentation is completed correctly• Support invoicing and billing by ensuring all job details are properly recorded and closed out• Provide cost estimates and quotes for transportation and delivery servicesQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, coordination, or transportation roles• Experience with time-sensitive shipments, freight coordination, or port/terminal operations preferred• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer systems
