As a Vice President at PKF Investment Banking, you will assume significant responsibilities related to pitching for and executing middle-market sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for a diverse group of industries.At PKF Investment Banking, we are focused on providing the highest level of M&A advisory services to privately held family and founder-owned companies with revenue between $15 million and $350 million.This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneur-minded firm which is supported by a private equity-backed leading accounting and advisory platform. In this position, you will have the ability to significantly impact the firm’s expansion and success with prospects for rapid advancement.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day project managementInterface with clients and take a lead role in executing transactionsOversee buyer and market researchOversee financial modeling and analysisDevelop and participate in pitch presentationsHire and train junior staffReview work product of othersIdentify new business opportunities and develop business relationshipsContribute to marketing, process and system improvementsRequired Skills And ExperienceAbility to independently lead M&A transactions with reasonable support from senior bankersAgile leader that can exercise sound judgement under pressureStrong financial modeling skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven project management and leadership skillsDetail oriented but with ability to see the big pictureSelf-starter and driven but effective working as part of a teamQualificationsMust be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. 4 year degree or MBA from a top-tier business schoolSix or more years of M&A advisory experience focused on serving privately owned companies in the middle marketSeries 79 and 63 licensesCompensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 - $175,000. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
