As a valued member of the echocardiography team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services that support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images.Utilize advanced imaging techniques to support the care of patients with complex heart conditions, including those requiring mechanical support devices.Participate in the imaging support of advanced heart failure patients and echo-guided trans-catheter procedures.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.CertificationRequired Qualifications:Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer LicenseUpon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) orUpon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) orUpon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)Upon hire: National Provider BLS (American Heart Association)Preferred QualificationsEducation: Associate's Degree in Applied Science from a CAAHPE-accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.ExperienceOne year of experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations or a minimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities available.Pediatric echocardiography experience.Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients (mechanical support devices).Experience with echo-guided trans-catheter procedures.BenefitsFlexibility in scheduling to suit your lifestyle.A $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires meeting the required qualifications and conditions for payment.Join us at Virtus Healthcare Staffing, where we are committed to connecting healthcare professionals with rewarding opportunities.
