Salary: $75-95K plus bonus
Job Summary:
The Project Manager is in charge of effectively delivering projects for clients. This role involves bid management, creating and managing schedules, reviewing contracts, and planning resources. The Project Manager must ensure that project activities related to engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service/installation, and accounting are completed on time.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules identifying deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation
Perform contract review and negotiation in collaboration with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Market Development Managers
Manage contracts throughout the project's duration
Provide project updates on schedule and budget to the PMO and executive management
Compare and report variances between project progress and schedule/budget baselines
Prepare and deliver formal project documentation in coordination with Engineering and other relevant departments
Organize project documentation and account activities according to PMO standards
Visit customers for negotiations, project kickoff, status update meetings, and project closeout
Schedule and lead meetings with project resources to provide updates and review upcoming work
Create and implement new project management processes
Coordinate with Engineering for internal project management
Manage bid processes including bid schedules, review meetings, and approval
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of project management experience
PMP certification is not required but preferred
Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin) is a plus
Proven ability to coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience with contractual terms and conditions
Understanding of technical project requirements
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Office 360 Suites
Advanced knowledge of Project Management software, especially MS Project
Travel:
Up to 25% travel required, including international trips and occasional weekend stays for bids and projects.
Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00
