Here, you will make an impact by:Drive 3M converter sales in assigned territory.Drive profitable product sales within the key converter segments. (Primarily Narrow Web but will minimally deal with Screen Print, Electronic Switch & Display, Membrane Switch, Specialty Die Cut and Foam Laminating)Establishes and maintains customer relationships. Understands the customer's business/sales model to influence key playersIntroduces new products, and communicates promotions to relevant customers and prospectsMaintain and update a working Sales Plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecastDemonstrates a proficient level of procedural and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needsWork to attain sales quota, sales quality and sales productivity metricsShares best practices with the team to promote a positive team environmentProficient in identifying market trends and account needs in order to react to market activity and reach favorable sales goalsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionMinimum of one (1) year of sales experience (combined inside and field sales) in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:CRM experience / pipeline managementMinimum 1 year selling or working with 3M's Industrial Adhesives and tapes division products1+ years working with Industrial Converters3+ years inside sales experience3+ years technical sales experience, preferably with 3M Industrial productsExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skillsExperience leveraging Social Sales tools / processes (Linked In, Webinars, etc.)Inside sales and field sales experience highly desirableAbility to work in a high volume rapidly changing environmentAbility to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadershipStrong active listening skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office products and CRM systemStrong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasksGood interpersonal skillsLocation: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 10%Relocation: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
