Director, Operational Risk Management

Job Description: Lead the development and implementation of the operational risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controlsIdentify and assess operational risks across the organization, using a range of risk assessment techniques and toolsCollaborate with business units and departments to develop and implement risk management processesMonitor the effectiveness of operational risk controls and identify opportunities for improvementProvide leadership and guidance to a team of operational risk professionals, including setting performance objectives, providing coaching and mentorship, and conducting performance evaluationsCollaborate with other risk management functions, such as credit, market, and liquidity risk, to ensure a holistic approach to risk managementEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk managementParticipate in the development and implementation of the bank's overall risk appetite and risk management strategyPrepare and present reports and presentations on operational risk management to senior management and the board of directorsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or risk managementMaster's degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in the banking industryProven experience leading the development and implementation of operational risk management frameworks and policiesStrong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organizationStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in risk assessment techniques and tools, such as risk mapping and scenario analysisExperience leading and managing a team of professionalsRelevant risk management certifications preferredBenefits: Competitive salaryFull benefits packagePotential for performance-based bonus
