A. Basic Function
This position assists in all areas of Production Engineering.
B. Job Duties
1. Assisting with all order write ups.
2. Assisting with checking all job cut tickets for offsets and part numbers.
3. Helps design new windows and accessories.
4. Help re-design old windows and accessories.
5. Build new models in the Configurator computer system.
6. Maintain old models in the Configurator computer system.
7. Works with the Information Technology Manager to program new windows and accessories in the Configurator computer system.
8. Works with the Information Technology Manager to maintain old windows and
Accessories in the Configurator computer system.
9. Identify cut tickets that are incorrect and work with the Information Technology
Manager to correct these problems.
10. Acts as a liaison between Engineering and the Information Technology Departments.
11. Work with the R & D Technician, Plant Production and Engineering to build test
Windows.
12. Maintains offset sheets and keeps them current .
13. Work with the plant production personnel to solve manufacturing problems .
14. Communicate with customers and reps concerning engineering questions.
15. Help write orders on large jobs.
16. Work with the Engineering Assistant to develop new part numbers.
17. Work with the R & D Technician and others to build mock ups of new windows and accessories to make sure that they work.
18. Act as a source of information for Project Managers and others.
19. Other duties as required.
The ability to create shop drawings and 3D parts and assemblies using the Auto-Desk suite is critical to a candidate's success.

8. Knowledge of window and trim configurations.
9. Knowledge of window make-up (i.e. glass type, spacers, grid types, panels, Hardware and balances).
10. Knowledge of extrusion configurations .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

8 hour shift
