Java AI Engineer

Job Role: Java AI EngineerLocation: Austin, TX (Onsite)Mode of Hiring: ContractExp Needed: 10+YearsSummary: We are looking for a talented Java AI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered applications using Java and modern Artificial Intelligence technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop scalable AI/ML applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.Integrate Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and Machine Learning capabilities into enterprise applications.Build and deploy AI-powered services and microservices.Work with AI frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms to deliver intelligent solutions.Develop integrations with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS AI services, or similar platforms.Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering solutions.Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, and business teams.Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Java code.Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.Required SkillsStrong experience with Java / J2EE and Spring Boot.Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and prompt engineering.Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and AI APIs.Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks is a plus.Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
