Process Engineer (Plant-Focused)Location: Dillon, MTCompany: High Divide MineralsJoin Our TeamHigh Divide Minerals is looking for a hands-on Process Engineer who wants to be in the plant, solving problems in real time and driving measurable improvements. This is not a desk-only role—this position is embedded in daily operations, working directly with operators, maintenance, and leadership to improve performance.If you enjoy troubleshooting, optimizing processes, and seeing the direct impact of your work on production, this role is for you.What You’ll DoOperate in the Plant – Not Just the OfficeSpend significant time in the plant working alongside operators and supervisorsIdentify and troubleshoot issues in flotation, grinding, and sizing circuitsProvide real-time solutions to improve uptime, recovery, and throughputOwn Process PerformanceOptimize flotation performance (reagents, recovery, concentrate quality)Support grinding circuit performance (mills, throughput, efficiency)Improve classification and sizing systems (cyclones, screens, etc.)Monitor key performance metrics and drive continuous improvementLead Small Projects (< $250K)Identify and implement practical improvements to plant systemsScope, justify, and execute small capital projectsWork hands-on with maintenance and contractors during install and startupEnsure projects deliver real operational value—not just paperworkBe a Problem SolverJump into plant issues and help resolve bottlenecks and inefficienciesRun trials, test ideas, and implement changes quicklyTranslate data into actionable improvementsWork Across TeamsCollaborate with operations, maintenance, and mine teamsHelp align plant performance with changing ore conditionsSupport and coach operators on process improvementsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, or related Engineering field4–8 years of plant experience in mineral processingStrong background in flotation, milling, and process troubleshootingExperience working directly in an operating plant environmentProven ability to execute small projects and drive improvementsWhat Sets You ApartHands-on, practical mindset—you prefer being in the field over behind a deskStrong troubleshooting skills and bias for actionAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentWhy High Divide MineralsHigh visibility role with direct impact on plant performanceOpportunity to lead meaningful improvements and projectsTight-knit, collaborative team environmentAbility to see your work translate into results every dayWork EnvironmentPlant-based role with frequent exposure to industrial conditionsRequires time in active processing areas around heavy equipment
