Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearJob description:Senior Accountant – Expense ManagementLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FLFull-TimePosition OverviewHiring for a client, a National RIA, seeking a strong Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, expense management workflows, reconciliations, and month-end reporting across multiple entities.This role works directly with the Controller and requires someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong in financial controls, reporting, and accounting operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting OperationsManage accounts payable and accounts receivableRecord deposits, customer invoices, and vendor paymentsPerform daily cash reconciliationMaintain accurate general ledger entriesReview A/R aging and support collectionsExpense ManagementOversee Concur, Pivot Payables, and expense workflowsResolve vendor mismatches and reporting issuesEnsure timely expense submissions and approvalsSupport department users with system troubleshootingReconciliations & ReportingComplete monthly bank and inter-company reconciliationsReview financial statements for accuracySupport month-end close and reportingGenerate consolidated balance sheet and P&L reportsCompliance & Year-End SupportPrepare 1099s and audit support documentationAssist with year-end close and tax preparationTrack business filings and regulatory requirementsQualifications3–5+ years of accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong understanding of GAAP and month-end closeAdvanced QuickBooks experience requiredStrong Excel skills requiredConcur experience preferredHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage deadlines and work across departmentsWhy This RoleThis is not a basic staff accountant role.
