Inspired by the Good Samaritan, we connect people to families and communities, creating ripples of positive change.Apply today and #BeTheRock for youth working toward independence.What You’ll DoTeam Leadership & Operations Create and manage schedules for Independent Living Plus Youth Specialists Provide shift coverage (including 2nd or 3rd shifts) when needed Train and support new Youth Specialists on responsibilities and best practices Collaborate with Program Managers on performance management and corrective actions Maintain awareness of house operations, staffing needs, and overall program functionYouth Mentorship & Support Serve as a mentor and positive role model for youth in residence Guide youth in developing daily living skills, including household responsibilities Support youth as they transition from foster care to independent living Build relationships that foster trust, growth, and accountabilityProgram & Safety Oversight Monitor youth activities to ensure safety and well-being Reinforce house rules and program expectations Participate in house meetings and treatment planning sessions Communicate youth progress with case managers, coaches, and program staff Report safety concerns, maintenance needs, or behavioral issues appropriatelyWhat We’re Looking ForEducation High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate or bachelor’s degree in social services, Child Development, or related field (preferred)Experience Experience in a group home, residential setting, or working with youth strongly preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Background in child welfare or human services a plusSkills & Qualifications Ability to provide trauma-informed care in high-stress environments Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Ability to mentor and positively influence youth behavior and development Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Bilingual (Spanish or language of youth served) preferredAdditional Requirements Valid driver’s license with a good driving record Reliable personal transportation and proof of insurance Ability to safely transport youth as neededWhy Join Samaritas?Make a direct impact on youth transitioning to independenceStep into a leadership role with growth opportunitiesBe part of a mission-driven, supportive teamHelp shape brighter futures every dayApply TodayIf you’re ready to lead, mentor, and make a lasting difference in the lives of youth, we want to hear from you.Join Samaritas and help build the path to independence—one young person at a time.#socialservices #humanservices #mentor #residential #socialwork #childwelfare #youthdevelopment
