Director, Commercial Forecasting & Business Insights

Please do not share outside of the organization.Your Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director, Commercial Forecasting & Business Insights to lead our forecasting and business insights function across multiple therapeutic areas including Oncology, Fertility, HIV and N&I. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who combines deep forecasting expertise with a passion for leveraging technology, automation, and AI to deliver actionable business insights. You will own the end-to-end forecasting process, run monthly KPI meetings with stakeholders, and drive the modernization of forecasting and reporting practices.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing forecasting and KPI reporting team across multiple therapeutic areas.Drive accurate, timely, and actionable brand-level forecasting for Oncology, Fertility, HIV and N&I products.Develop robust patient-based and trend-based models, incorporating epidemiological data, market share shifts, competitive launches. and secondary data (claims, Rx, EMR) to deliver data-driven insights. Guide calibration, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.Design, implement, and continuously improve forecasting processes using modern tools, automation, and AI to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency.Own monthly KPI meeting and insight sessions with business stakeholders, simplifying complex data into clear, actionable business insights.Identify opportunities to automate and optimize recurring processes, including dashboards, reports, and presentations for KPI meetings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Finance) to ensure forecasting and KPI reporting aligns with business needs.Collaborate with Data Science team to utilize AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy and provide forward-looking insights.Establish best practices, metrics, and governance for forecasting and KPI reporting processes.Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.Who You AreMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS in Analytics, or equivalent).10+ years of progressive experience in forecasting, business analytics, or commercial analytics in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Hands-on experience in forecasting across multiple therapeutic areas, ideally including Oncology, Fertility, HIV, and N&IStrong expertise in KPI reporting, data visualization, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.Proficiency in forecasting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Redshift, Excel, Python, R, or similar).Preferred Qualifications:Experience implementing automation and AI/machine learning solutions in forecasting and reporting processes.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.Experience in modern, AI-driven forecasting methodologies, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics.Demonstrated success in modernizing business processes and driving digital transformation in forecasting or reporting.Familiarity with pharma commercial data, including claims, sales, and market research datasets.Pay Range for this position: $196,000 - 294,000The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
