The Residential Program serves individuals in whichever setting is best suited to their needs, living independently, with family members, or in a state-qualified Host Home.Status: Part time, up to 29 hours per week.Compensation and Benefits:$60.00- $65.00 per hourHealth/Vision/Dental/Life InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid Sick TimeReferral BonusesSchedule: Core hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM , with flexibility in start/end times and number of days worked.Reports to: Executive DirectorPosition Purpose: The BCBA provides high-quality, evidence-based interventions that improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Location: Aurora, ColoradoJob Functions:Collect data and create individualized treatment plans for each client.Provide direct oversight and supervision in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies, ensuring they are applied consistently.Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and familiesComplete all billable hours assigned.Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff involved in direct client care.Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialtiesMaintain client specific information using Spectrum’s online tools.Additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducationMaster’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related fieldCertificationsCurrent BCBA certificationAdditional RequirementsValid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.Reliable transportation and willingness to travel in the Denver metro and surrounding areasComputer-literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePossess a coachable and positive attitudeAbility to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situationsPunctualDetail oriented and organizedStrong writing and oral communication skillsPrioritize workload and meet deadlinesSet boundaries and always maintain professionalismHandle confidential information with discretionDisplay a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn along with a cooperative approach to problem solvingCriminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services background checks requiredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working at the computerMust be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 4-5 hoursAbility to assist clients with mobility challenges, including physical guidance during interventions.Drive to and from meetings and shifts in the communityMust be able to bend, and reach overheadCapability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure while working with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors (e.g., aggressive behavior, self-injury).Ability to perform other physical tasks associated with direct therapy, including positioning clients, moving adaptive equipment, and setting up treatment spaces.Application deadline: May 15th, 2026, at 10:00am MT
