TC Boiler & Piping supports both scheduled projects and emergency work for a wide range of clients.Role Description The Safety Technician is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting and promoting a strong safety culture across TC Boiler & Piping’s projects. This role helps develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing safety documentation, participating in virtual safety meetings, tracking incident reports, and assisting with root-cause analyses and corrective actions. The Safety Technician will collaborate with project teams and field leaders to provide guidance on safe work practices, conduct remote audits and checklists, and help prepare training materials and safety communications. The role also involves maintaining accurate safety records, monitoring compliance metrics, and escalating potential risks or nonconformities to leadership.Qualifications Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills, with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical controls.Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge, including awareness of applicable regulations and industry standards.Strong Communication skills, with the ability to convey safety expectations clearly in writing and verbally to diverse teams.Experience supporting safety programs in industrial, construction, or mechanical environments is preferred.Familiarity with incident reporting, hazard assessments, and safety documentation tools or software.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote setting.Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA training, EHS-related credentials) or a background in safety, industrial, or engineering disciplines is an advantage.
