Summary: As a Dental Office Receptionist and front office coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care by managing the front desk operations of our dental office. Your friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail will contribute to a positive patient experience and efficient office functioning. Key Responsibilities: Greet and Welcome Patients: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all patients as they enter the office. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns. Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with dental hygienists and dentists to optimize the daily schedule. Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, including personal information, insurance details, and treatment plans, while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information, submit claims, and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries. Billing and Payments: Process payments, provide cost estimates for treatments, and assist patients with financial arrangements. Phone and Email Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails professionally, addressing inquiries, appointment requests, and emergencies promptly. Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-organized, and assist with ordering office supplies as needed. Patient Follow-Up: Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions. Problem Resolution: Address patient concerns and complaints effectively, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with dental staff, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure the smooth flow of patients and information.
