This is a hands-on technical role involving backend development, API engineering, cloud architecture, streaming data, and GenAI integrations.The ideal candidate will work closely with technical leads and product owners to understand requirements, contribute to system design, develop scalable solutions, and support best engineering practices in a collaborative Agile environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIsBuild RESTful APIs using FastAPI and GraphQL APIs using StrawberryDevelop real-time data pipelines using Kafka or Event HubsWork with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and distributed data systemsImplement scalable data processing workflows using Spark and Delta LakeUtilize Databricks for data engineering and ML workflowsIntegrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Llama, or other GenAI platformsDeploy and manage applications using Docker and KubernetesBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and implementationTroubleshoot performance issues and optimize application scalabilityRequired SkillsStrong experience with Python and modern web frameworksHands-on experience with FastAPI and GraphQLExperience with Kafka or Event HubsStrong database experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDBExperience with Spark, Delta Lake, and DatabricksExperience integrating OpenAI, Llama, or other LLM APIsStrong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud architectureExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong system design and problem-solving skillsExperience handling concurrency, multithreading, or distributed systemsPreferred SkillsExperience with LangChainFront-end experience with React, Next.js, or JavaScriptTelecom industry experience is a plusWork ModelHybrid role based in Plano, TX.
