IS-U SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Remote with mix of travel based on project timelines.Description:Responsible for architecting SAP IS-U design across the modules:IS-U Customer Service and Service CloudIS-U Billing, including EDMIS-U Device Management, including AMI integrationFinance for Contract AccountingIntegration with Customer Self-serviceAs a senior architect you would also be expected to contribute to practice growth through supporting the development of new proposals, providing SME expertise in coaching our more junior practitioners and supporting new offerings by providing thought leadership.Responsibilities:Take ownership of the overall solution design and ensure that system requirements are translated effectively into solutions, including review and assurance of Service Provider design documentationEnsure that solutions are implemented in a way that meets the original business / IS strategy requirement: analyze business challenges and define business processes required to meet customer requirementsIdentify opportunities to transform business and system processes by leveraging standard IT solutionsAssurance that core elements of the design conform to SAP Clean Core principlesAccountable for creating Architectural artifacts and driving resolution of issues that lie behind the system requirementsDriving impact assessment of any change requests to requirements providing input to the Program Management Team and Change Control Board on changes in scope and the solution. Articulate any system or plan impact and manage design of a solution that integrates correctly with the wider IT systems and strategy. Ensure service providers and service integrators meet the needs identified in change requests in an effective and cost-efficient mannerParticipate in design authority forums and Architecture review boards to provide direction and make design decisionsSupport the design and development of operational processes, aligned to service provider contract requirementsQualificationsStrong demonstrable SAP experience, including full end to end project lifecycle in IS-Utilities, Gas, Electricity or Water implementations.Minimum 15+ years in IS-U Architect rolesA proven track record in the field of SAP Utilities Solutions, e.g. CRM / CCS, IS-U Billing, EDM Invoicing, Device Management, FICA.Experience of architecting SAP IS-U Solutions.Ability to develop and maintain solution architecture documents, establish policies & standards to meet the developing needs of the business.Ability to understand business requirements and manage conversion into designs, configuration and functional specifications while maintaining integrity of overall application design.Knowledge of overall IS-U data design end to end.Ability to assess emerging business and regulatory changes and articulate how these can positively impact your client.
