Role Description This is a full-time Staff Accountant position based in Kent, OH. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulations for multiple small business and non-profit clients. Experience with federal, state, and local tax returns is important. Additional tasks include supporting the month-end close process, assisting with audits, analyzing financial data, and streamlining accounting processes to improve efficiency. Collaboration with the internal team and clients will play a key role in daily responsibilities. QualificationsProficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenanceStrong skills in reconciliations, audits, and cash flow managementAttention to detail, problem solving abilities, and a proactive approach to process improvementProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelEffective communication skills for working with team members and clientsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
