AR Lead (Remote)A hyper-growth AI unicorn is looking for an AR Lead to own the receivables function as the business scales across enterprise and self-serve.They've grown fast, and the finance function needs to keep pace. This isn't a steady-state role. It's for someone who can run a tight AR operation today while building the systems that make tomorrow's volume feel manageable. If you're the kind of person who gets frustrated by manual workarounds and actually does something about it, that's the energy they're after. You'd be joining a lean Finance team at a company that treats operations as seriously as its product. AI runs through everything they do, finance included. What we're looking for:End-to-end AR experience in a SaaS, subscription, or tech business. You've handled billing, cash application, reconciliation, aging analysis, and reported AR metrics to Finance leadership. You know what good looks like.Familiarity with ASC 326 and credit loss estimation methodologies.NetSuite proficiency, or experience with an equivalent ERP close enough that you're not starting from scratch.Strong analytical instincts. You're comfortable identifying trends, escalating risks before they become problems, and presenting clearly to stakeholders who don't live in the same spreadsheets you do.Bonus points if you've worked with automated billing platforms or payment processors such as Stripe, GCP, or AWS.What you'd actually be doing:You'd own the full AR lifecycle. Invoice generation, cash application, reconciliation, aging management, credit loss analysis. All of it, from first invoice to closed book. You'd work closely with Revenue Accounting, Billing Operations, Collections, and the broader Finance team to make sure receivables are accurate, current, and audit-ready at all times. When something's off, you'd be the one catching it and getting it sorted. You'd be expected to understand the business model, not just process transactions. That means getting comfortable with both enterprise contracts and self-serve billing motions and knowing where the risks sit in each.Beyond the day-to-day, you'd have real ownership over process and system improvement. If a step is still manual, the question is why, and the expectation is that you'll have an answer. If this sounds like the right move:They're looking for someone who takes accuracy seriously, can operate with real autonomy in a fast-moving environment, and brings genuine curiosity to building something rather than just running it. If that's you, get in touch.
