ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERYEmployment Type: Part-TimeLocation: USA, New JerseyPOSITION SUMMARYThis role supports The Department in providing oral and maxillofacial surgical care within a residency affiliated clinical environment. Responsibilities include supervising residents, performing office based procedures, and contributing to didactic and clinical education. The position offers a combination of outpatient clinic work, limited inpatient responsibilities, and participation in a structured academic program.QUALIFICATIONS• Board eligible or board certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery• Residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey• Ability to supervise residents in clinical and didactic settings• Proficiency in dentoalveolar procedures and office based OMS careCOMPETENCIES• Performance of outpatient oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures• Clinical and didactic supervision of residents• Coordination with multidisciplinary dental and surgical teams• Use of industry standard EMR and diagnostic tools• Delivery of patient centered OMS care in an academic settingWORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Academic/Training Program• Residency affiliated clinic with rotating learners• Outpatient OMS procedures performed with local anesthesia and nitrous oxide• Limited inpatient responsibilities with second call structure• Access to diagnostic imaging and procedure rooms• Participation in academic activities supporting resident education
