Law Enforcement Investigator I The Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit is seeking a Law Enforcement Investigator I. This position is responsible for investigative support to the legal staff, including reviewing cases and evidence, witness locates, obtaining court documents, meeting and communicating with detectives and witnesses, providing staff and witness security, investigating violations of Florida Statutes, attending depos and proffers, and performing other varied investigative duties as required. Location: Southwest Florida, including Fort Myers, Naples, Punta Gorda Division: Office of the State Attorney 20th Judicial Circuit Salary: $61,900 Starting Date: As soon as possible Minimum Qualifications: Current Florida Law Enforcement Certification, valid Florida Driver's License, minimum of 5 years of criminal investigative experience, and meet the minimum eligibility requirements established in Florida State Statute 943. Desirable Skills and Experience: Notable investigative experience in major crimes, public corruption, financial crimes, and organized crime, or prior training and experience as a polygraph examiner may be given preference. Special consideration may be given to eligible candidates who have bilingual verbal & written skills, which meet a critical need of the agency's mission. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
