From inventing and producing parts for next-generation space vehicles to evolving vaccine refrigeration, designing functional textures for everyday products, improving renewable energy technology, and much more, we are focused on making what's next possible.The Machine Operator may be involved in many aspects of the production process, including: assembly, insulating with taping/winding equipment, and processing of material for production use. The Level 1 Operator will use electronic and printed documentation to assemble products, as well as set up and operate various pieces of equipment used in the manufacturing process.We are specifically seeking candidates who are available to work on the 2nd Shift.Shift Hours: 6PM - 6AMWhat You'll DoAdhere to all Company Safety, Quality, and Business policies/procedures, and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.Use a tablet computer to generate the production documentation required for the operation being performed.Perform work as per the Work Instructions, Bill of Material and build specifications used in their area of training.Setup and properly operate the equipment utilized in their area of training.Perform all required setup, self and progressive inspections in their areas of training.Properly document required information on travelers, logs, reports and Red TagsMaintain the tools and equipment used in your work area by using and storing properly, performing basic PM activities as required, and requesting service when necessaryPerform the work in their areas of training to acceptable levels of Quality and Productivity.Be cross trained in multiple machinery and be able to switch machines on a as need basis.Other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringHigh school education or equivalent experienceRelevant experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic math and reading skillsBasic computer skillsWhat We ValueTechnical diploma, trade school certification, or coursework in manufacturing, mechanics, or a related field2+ years of experience operating automated or semi-automated machineryExperience with preventive maintenance or troubleshooting of machineryAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or SOPsEqual Opportunity Employer.
