Automotive Parts Consultant - Specialist

Job DescriptionParts Specialist Job SummaryOur growing family-owned dealership is looking for a knowledgeable Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, your primary job is to maintain our in-store inventory based on the most common service needs of our guests as well as our service technicians. You provide estimates on the cost of parts to guests before ordering them and complete detailed purchase orders so that we can reconcile our accounts. Our ideal candidate has experience with automotive parts and repair and a working understanding of various vehicle components.Parts Specialist Duties and ResponsibilitiesHelp maintain our parts inventoryLocate parts using our computer systemOrder out-of-stock itemsProvide cost estimates Issue purchase orders to external suppliersAssist with invoicing and payment processingParts Specialist Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)Industry experience (preferred)Mechanical knowledge or repair experienceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
