Seasonal Production & Fulfillment Technician - Part Time, 20 hours/weekPosition SummaryRevant Optics’ Production team requires an additional team member to assist with our busiest season, summer! The Production team is dedicated to helping our customers receive the quality products they order. The Seasonal Production & Fulfillment Technician (P&F Tech) is responsible for assisting in various production and fulfillment related tasks including; picking orders, preparing lens blanks for production, quality inspections, packaging, shipping, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The Seasonal P&F Tech will work closely with the Production Supervisors to ensure all orders are produced accurately and shipped on time. This position will report to the Sr. Production & Distribution Manager.Revant offers a competitive compensation package including:Hourly pay rate: $18/hour$360 retention bonusEligible for “kicker” bonuses401k with 4% company matching20 hours of Paid Time OffMonthly parking pass or monthly TriMet pass reimbursementWe have one shift for seasonal employees:Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 AMThis position is expected to start in early May and will end in late August*.subject to end earlier if seasonal demand ends earlierEssential FunctionsSupport the Production Team in ensuring all orders are produced accurately and shipped on time each dayHandle any aspect of order flow as needed including printing orders, picking lens blanks, loading trays, unloading trays, QC checks of lenses, packaging, and shipping final ordersReceive inventory shipments and accurately put away inventory into the correct binsOperate tracing, and lens edging equipment with a high level of accuracy and minimal wasteManage a clean and well-maintained production spaceComplete the daily checklist of activities (e.g. cleaning and calibrating machines, preparing packaging for the next day, queueing orders for overnight processing, etc.)Work closely with the Quality Department on maintaining quality control standards throughout productionWork closely with the Sr. Production & Distribution Manager and Production Supervisors to maintain inventory and order flowKeep the production area stocked with all necessary items, perform supply counts and solve any problems that arise. The environment is often loud due to the air compressors required for manufacturing. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners as we are a technologically driven company.
