Location: New Orleans/Metairie Area, LAWho We AreWe are Mechanical Concepts LLC, an established equipment distribution and service company with a strong track record, now expanding our presence in the New Orleans / Metairie market.This is an opportunity to join a growing operation within an established company, be part of building a strong local team, and make a direct impact on how the business grows and operates locally.OverviewWe are seeking a motivated HVAC Parts Counter Sales team member to support daily parts store operations in the New Orleans / Metairie area.This is not a passive counter role. We are looking for someone who is customer-oriented, dependable, and engaged-someone who communicates well, follows through, and takes pride in helping customers get what they need quickly and accurately.You will work closely with the Parts Store Manager and play an important role in delivering a high level of service to contractors, technicians, and service teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist customers at the counter, over the phone, and through will call in a professional and helpful mannerProcess parts orders accurately and efficientlyPerform parts lookup for multiple equipment linesPrepare job quotes and maintain an active open quote log for customer follow-upProcess warranty claimsSupport customers in identifying substitute products when primary items are unavailableHelp maintain desired margins by following established pricing structureArrange and stock merchandise on shelves or racks and keep the sales area organizedConduct outgoing sales and follow-up calls to customersLearn product lines, stocking inventory, vendor parts, and new product offeringsWork closely with the Parts Store Manager and team to support daily operationsMaintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethicQualificationsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to handle multiple requests and priorities at the same timeStrong attention to detail and follow-throughPositive, team-oriented attitude with a strong customer-first mindsetAbility to quickly learn product lines, vendors, and part substitutionsHVAC parts, distribution, warehouse, or contractor supply experience preferredWillingness to work overtime when neededAbility to lift at least 50 poundsTrainingMultiple product lines will be introduced.
