SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - JAVA Requirements: Expert Java (1.5) knowledge. Java standalone servers, concurrency and threading. Java REST/SOAP Services. Spring framework experience is a MUST. Big Data (HBase, Hadoop) and analytic work experience is a plus. Experience building Complex Event Processing application (Drools Expert and Fusion or ILOG JRules) is a plus. Distributed messaging experience (Apache Kafka, RabitMQ). Must have been involved in an architecture related role on well-designed systems. Experience working with scalable, low latency system architectures is a plus. Must be able to quickly pick up new technologies and incorporate them into production software. Experience in debugging and performance troubleshooting in large Java based system. Experience in all phases of software development life cycle methodologies and processes. Must: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a 4-year college or university. 5+ years of professional experience in Java environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
