Maintenance Technician

If you thrive on problem-solving and enjoy working hands-on with various mechanical systems, this role is perfect for you! *Duties* * Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. * Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. * Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. * Troubleshoot complex issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical components with precision. * Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; update logs regularly. * Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or equipment transport as needed. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients regarding maintenance needs and solutions. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. * Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC & appliance technology for accurate diagnostics and repairs. * Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, HVAC & R systems, including air conditioning units. * Mechanical knowledge of various mechanical systems used in commercial or industrial settings. * Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and efficiently; experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. * Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly. * Leadership qualities that support teamwork and safety adherence in all tasks performed.
