Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a dedicated Lead Securities Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Lead Securities Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Securities Operations department supporting critical trade lifecycle processes. What's the Job?
Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and support cross-functional tasks with broad impact, contributing to large-scale planning and deliverables.
Review and analyze intricate operational challenges, evaluating multiple factors to develop effective solutions.
Make informed decisions in complex trade processing situations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate strategically with peers and senior managers to resolve issues and drive process improvements, including AI-enabled optimizations.
Translate operational workflows into structured, scalable frameworks supporting consistency and knowledge reuse.
What's Needed?
5+ years of Securities Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
Deep understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, and operational risk controls across securities functions.
Strong operational process mapping and analysis skills, with the ability to break down complex workflows.
Experience with data structuring and knowledge management tools such as Excel or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
