Operations Associate
Operations Associate The primary responsibility of the Operations Associate is responsible for supporting daily operational activities, coordinating between various departments, and assisting in the implementation of process improvements to enhance overall productivity. The Operations Associate will analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to strategic decision-making. They will also manage inventory control, vendor communications, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role aims to optimize retail operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support business growth across multiple locations. Full-Time Responsibilities/Duties: Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure seamless retail store functions and support management teams Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain stock availability and accuracy Analyze operational data and generate reports to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and compliance protocols Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, logistics, and customer service to resolve operational issues promptly Support training initiatives for new staff on operational processes and systems Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services Participate in audits and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good general computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with retail management software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain best practices Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to retail trade Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Credentials and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in retail operations, logistics or a related field Physical Demands: Employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between 40-50lbs Required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform work May be required to stand, walk and use hands and fingers for long periods of time Benefits: Flexible scheduling (Open Saturdays till noon, closed Sundays!)
