Central Technologies, Inc. is looking for qualified leaders to lead teams of Structured Cabling, AV and Security Engineers in the Cookeville area and throughout the state of Tennessee.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Industry specific knowledge in the following areas is required: Low voltage wiring, AV, Access Control, Security, Intrusion detection, Alarms, Information technology, etc., as well as the service, maintenance, and installation of these products.
Experience leading small to large teams of installation technicians or similar trades
Complete installations of projects on time and within budget based on the customer consultation and expectations.
Use approved industry standards and techniques to ensure proper system function with installed equipment.
Create documentation, analyze, modify and test each system to ensure proper function.
Ensure that all installed systems and programs are tested working properly
Maintain a company vehicle and keep up with maintenance.
Help maintain the inventory for the projects you are assigned to.
Keep a neat and clean work area and equipment that you use in your daily duties.
Ability to read blueprints / schematics.
Troubleshooting of AV and Security Systems.
Knowledge of AV cabling types.
Rack building/pre-wiring.
Install projectors and screens.
Build structure to hang AV equipment consistent with industry safety standards.
Install Interactive TV Panels and Audio Systems.
Install and Program Analog and Digital Camera Security Systems.
Install and Program Access Control Systems.
Structured cabling which includes pulling, terminating and testing all cable.
Work in unusual and difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, crawl spaces and above ceilings.
Familiar with basic hand tools and power tools.
Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50lbs.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Be willing to adapt to your job schedules and task.
Be able to work odd hours if needed.
This job position requires approximately 25-50% travel to complete large projects.
Eligibility Requirements:
Smoke free workplace.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass both State (TBI) & Federal (FBI) Background check to include fingerprints.
Must pass initial and random drug tests.
Must be willing to travel within the state of Tennessee and stay overnight if required.
