Job Summary and Candidate Overview:TransEleven Claims Managers is looking for a qualified attorney to join our team in the role of Senior Claims Counsel, handling a high volume of claim files in multiple PL/GL practice areas. Our hiring preference is for candidates who live in Texas, Oklahoma or neighboring states, however this position is 100% remote after initial training at our corporate offices in Allen, TX. For more information visit: www.trans11claims.com​Job Responsibilities (Summary):TCM is looking for an experienced attorney to join our team in the role of Senior Claims Counsel. In this position you will oversee claims administration and litigation management for a portfolio of claim files, from initial coverage and claims analysis through resolution, including retaining and management of outside counsel, negotiations, mediations, settlement conferences, invoice and expense management and complex reporting to all parties. The right candidate must be able to engage in high-level problem solving, legal analysis and negotiations.Qualifications:JD (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law schoolLicensed as an attorney (in good standing) in at least one state (valid State Bar member)A minimum of 4 years of experience in insurance litigation, insurance defense, professional liability claims administration or litigation managementLicensed Insurance Adjuster (or willingness to obtain this and any other required insurance or legal certifications)Excellent verbal communication skillsExceptional writing skills due to the level of report writing required by clients (writing samples may be requested)Command of Office 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)Experience working with claims software and file management systems (e.g., FileHandler Enterprise) and billingAbility to work independently and as a part of a close-knit teamCommitment to ethical legal practices and compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.What We Offer:TransEleven offers a competitive salary and benefits package which includes: medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401k with a company contribution and flex scheduling.We offer a supportive work environment, with the opportunity to work entirely remote after a training and performance evaluation period (outside of any required client travel or required company meetings or outings).
