About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in RF systems, avionics software development, and airborne navigation/surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will lead software development activities for safety-critical avionics applications and collaborate closely with Hardware and FPGA teams throughout the product lifecycle.Required Qualifications8+ years of Embedded Software Engineering experience in Aerospace or Defense.Strong programming experience in:CC++Assembly LanguageHands-on experience with:DO-178CDAL A Software DevelopmentDO-160G (EMI/EMC)Software Requirements DevelopmentCode Reviews and Verification ActivitiesStrong understanding of:Software ArchitectureDesign PatternsConfiguration ManagementVersion Control SystemsCI/CD PipelinesExperience with Avionics systems including:TCASADS-BTransponderDMEUATExperience working with Hardware and FPGA integration.Experience creating Planning Documents and Certification Documentation.Flight Test experience and aircraft integration knowledge preferred.Defense industry experience highly preferred.
