Control Room Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Control Room Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating control panels in a manufacturing or production environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor control panels to oversee the production process Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning Troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment as they arise Maintain accurate records of process operations and equipment status Coordinate with field service technicians for maintenance and repairs Utilize tools such as voltmeters, vision inspection systems, and hydraulics for operational tasks Qualifications Previous experience in a control room operator role is preferred Knowledge of high voltage systems and E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Familiarity with AutoCAD software for interpreting technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Schedule: 10 hour shift Holidays Overnight shift Experience: Traffic Management: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Chattanooga, TN 37416 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Chattanooga, TN 37416: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
