Technical Program Manager - GCP

Strategic Delivery and Execution.Program Lifecycle Management: Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior leadership.Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical and operational bottlenecks (e.g., quota limits, security blockers) and develop contingency plans.Agile Orchestration: Lead cross-functional teams (Engineers, Architects, Product Managers) using Agile or Scrum methodologies to hit sprint targets.2. Commercial & Financial OperationsCloud FinOps: Monitor cloud consumption and spend. Work with "Commercial Managers" to optimize costs, manage commits (CUDs), and ensure ROI.Contract & Vendor Management: Oversee commercial agreements, statement of work (SOW) compliance, and third-party vendor integrations.3. Technical GovernanceCompliance & Security: Ensure all cloud programs adhere to organizational security policies, VPC Service Controls, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).Change Management: Lead the transition from on-prem to cloud, including staff upskilling and process redesign.Required Skills & Qualifications Technical FluencyGCP Core Services: A high-level understanding of Compute Engine, BigQuery, GKE, and Vertex Al. You don't need to code, but you must understand the architecture.Data & Analytics: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Looker/Tableau) to track program KPIs and cloud spend.Infrastructure as Code (laC): Familiarity with the impact of Terraform or Ansible on deployment timelines.Leadership & Professional SkillsStakeholder Management: Ability to "translate" deep technical issues into business impact for C-suite executives.Problem Solving: A "healthy disregard for the impossible"-the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced cloud environment.
