Director of Tutor Programs

JOB The Director of Tutoring will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a centralized, student-focused tutoring and academic support center at Snow College. This role is responsible for building tutoring services from the ground up, including designing operational processes, partnering with faculty to hire and train staff and peer tutors, developing academic support programs, and strengthening campus-wide collaboration to improve student success, retention, and equitable learning outcomes.The Director will ensure tutoring services are welcoming, accessible, and aligned with Snow College’s mission to empower learners, support academic excellence, and foster student achievement. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Bachelor’s degree. Preferred degree in education, student affairs, learning assistance, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in academic support, tutoring, learning centers, student success, or higher education administration.Demonstrated experience supervising student employees or academic support staff.Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Experience designing academic support or tutoring programs.Commitment to student success in academic outcomes.Collaborative leadership and strong relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and develop systems from scratch.Innovative problem-solving and strategic vision.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
