PRIVATE CHEF BROOKLYN, NY

Great position for an experienced nutrition chef interested and flexible for travel! YOU MUST HAVE AN EXISTING US WORK PERMIT TO APPLY The clients are a young couple seeking an experienced PART TIME, Private chef with a nutrition background for their main home in Brooklyn, NY. The position will include some travel to various domestic and foreign locations. Other locations are San Francisco, Japan, Austria, South of France and possibly others All travel is paid for by employers and destination housing is provided either on property or close by. FREQUENCY: Travel is sometimes once per month for stays from a week to a few weeks. The chef is provided with at least one weeks notice, sometimes more and does not always accompany. SCHEDULE: at home base in Brooklyn NY: Monday and Wednesday with the possibility of Fridays. Schedule varies at other locations. The chef will plan the menus, shop, prepare and containerize lunch, dinner and a snack for 2 people on the day of visit and for the next day. No table service is required. CUISINE: the clients are focused on nutrition and will enjoy varied menus from a chef that can provide a “food for fuel” concept of menus. They enjoy meat, fish, vegetables and mostly anti-inflammatory ingredients. Some other examples of preferences are Kimchi and sardines etc. Allergies: client 1 no crustaceans client 2 lactose intolerant, no seed oils, attn to lite IBS issue. COMPENSATION: Payment to chef as an outside contractor (1099) or through the chef’s LLC if applicable. 2-3 visits per week can be paid as the base salary with added days when traveling as needed. Paid vacation. The ideal candidate will have a nutrition background, and a proven track record within HNW estates, prioritizing kitchen organization and a meticulous 'clean-as-you-go' approach to service.
