Duties: Responsible for developing, enhancing, testing, supporting, maintaining, an debugging software applications that support business units or support functions; assisting senior business leaders and management; providing strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives; utilizing in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization; estimating efforts for software application for one or more programmers; coordinating collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget; providing feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives; understanding AJAX and fetching data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content; utilize and apply knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST Web Services, React JS, Angular, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes to accomplish necessary tasks; reviewing UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; working with UX partners and identifying design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites; communicating complex technology solutions to diverse teams, namely technical, business and management; breaking down requirements and solving complex problems; bringing improvement ideas to the team; and driving the execution/implementation. Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; Salary: $131,997 per year (standard benefits apply); Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Java Developer, as an I.T. Analyst, or in a related occupation;Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year's use of all the following: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST Web Services, React JS, Angular, SQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.Because referrals have and continue to produce some of our best performing consultants nationwide, Genesis10 will reward you for your referrals by paying you a referral fee of $1000.00 which shall be paid in 2 installments:First Installment*: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our clientSecond Installment*: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month.
