Our philosophy, “The Power of Managing the Process,” reflects our commitment to protecting client interests through proactive management, critical thinking, and trusted advisory services.Position OverviewTrident is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing Owner’s Project Management team in Salem, New Hampshire, beginning mid-summer 2026.This role is ideal for a construction or design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys managing complex projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. The Project Manager will lead projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and occupancy while maintaining a strong focus on schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities simultaneously. As a company, Trident highly values in-person collaboration, this position requires in-office attendance, Monday through Friday. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Client ManagementServe as the primary day-to-day representative for assigned projects and clients. Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, CM/Builders, consultants, contractors, and public agencies. Lead project meetings and provide clear communication, coordination, and follow-through among all project stakeholders. Professionally represent Trident at meetings, presentations, interviews, public forums, and industry events. Project Oversight & DeliveryProvide comprehensive oversight of project budgets, schedules, contracts, risks, claims, procurement activities, and overall project execution. Monitor project progress and proactively identify issues that may impact cost, schedule, quality, or client objectives. Develop and recommend corrective actions and strategic solutions to protect client interests. Review project documentation, requisitions, change orders, schedules, and consultant deliverables for accuracy and compliance. Assist clients with decision-making throughout all project phases, including feasibility, due diligence, design, permitting, bidding, construction, commissioning, and closeout. Planning, Budgeting & SchedulingPrepare and maintain total project budgets, project schedules, cash flow projections, and development option analyses. Assist in evaluating construction delivery methods, procurement strategies, and project phasing approaches. Support long-range planning and master planning initiatives for clients. Business Development & Proposal SupportParticipate in business development efforts, including RFQ/RFP responses, presentations, interviews, and client relationship development. Identify opportunities for repeat business and new market growth. Collaborate with Trident leadership on strategic pursuits and client engagement initiatives. Administrative & Technical ResponsibilitiesMaintain organized project documentation and reporting systems. Utilize project management and scheduling software to track project performance and deliverables. Ensure compliance with Trident standards, client requirements, contracts, and industry best practices. Qualifications & ExperienceRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction management, owner’s project management, architecture, engineering, or related project leadership roles. Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and project delivery methods. Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software platforms such as Procore and scheduling software. Preferred QualificationsExperience with municipal, educational, public safety, or institutional projects. Familiarity with public procurement processes and CM at Risk project delivery. Experience participating in public presentations, community meetings, or interview processes. Knowledge of New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts construction and permitting environments.
