Do you believe that educational opportunities should be accessible and affordable for all?If you said YES, then you could be a great fit as an EKG Technician Instructor!Job Family: FacultyIndustry: Healthcare/EducationLevel: InstructorCompensation: $20 - $24/Hour (DOE)Location: OnsiteRESPONSIBILITIESWhat you will do as an EKG Technician Instructor on our FacultyPrepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school's textbook.Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy.Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.RequirementsYou are the ideal candidate if you areSupportive: You support our students with empathy and kindness while also maintaining positive professional boundaries. You accept feedback openly and are able to learn and grow from it.You possess these basic requirementsMinimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or similar/more advanced practice (EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc)High school diploma or equivalentPrevious teaching experience is not requiredAuthorized to work in the US
