Production Clerk
Production ClerkThe Production Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the production floor by maintaining accurate records, reviewing production schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring documentation is up to date. This role plays a key part in keeping production organized, efficient, and compliant with company procedures.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Maintain and update work orders.Track and record production output and materials usage.Assist in coordinating the flow of materials and products between departments.Maintain accurate inventory records and notify management of shortages or discrepancies.Enter production data into systems and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.Communicate with warehouses, purchasing, and other departments to support smooth operationsEnsure all paperwork complies with quality and safety standards.Support production supervisors with administrative tasks as needed.Any other duties as the job demands.Reasoning Ability:Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.Capable of identifying discrepancies in data and taking appropriate corrective action.Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Must demonstrate sound judgment in handling routine and non-routine situations.Able to recognize when to escalate issues to supervisors or cross-functional teams.Language Skills:Bilingual preferred; English and SpanishEducation and/or Experience:Microsoft Skills preferredExperience with Epicor SoftwareAttention to DetailAdministrative or Clerical WorkCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:N/APhysical Demands:On-the-job time spent in the following physical activities will be:Amount of TimeNone - Under 1/3 - 1/3 2/3 - Over 2/3Stand - XWalk - XSit - XUse hands to finger, handle or feel - XReach with hands and arms - XClimb or balance - XTalk or hear - XStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl - XWork Environment:This job requires exposure to the following environmental conditions:Amount of TimeNone - Under 1/3 - 1/3 2/3 - Over 2/3Wet or humid conditions (non-weather) - XWork near moving mechanical parts - XWork in high, precarious places - XFumes or airborne particles - XToxic or caustic chemicals - XOutdoor weather conditions - XExtreme cold (non-weather) - XExtreme heat (non-weather) - XRisk of electrical shock - XWork with explosives - XLoud noise (examples: metal can manufacture department) is typical for the work environment of this job.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
