Private Equity Associate, Energy

Sharing an opportunity with a leading North American energy infrastructure investment platform.They are looking to hire an Associate for their Private Equity team in New York to support investments across power generation, renewables, energy storage, distributed energy resources, and related infrastructure platforms.The role involves end-to-end exposure to the investment lifecycle, including:Financial modeling and investment underwritingDue diligence across commercial, technical, and regulatory workstreamsExecution of acquisitions, refinancings, and development financingsPortfolio management and value creation initiatives alongside operating teamsPreparation of investment committee materials and financing presentationsExposure to complex capital structures including debt, project finance, and tax equityIdeal profile:3-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consultingStrong financial modeling and analytical capabilitiesFamiliarity or strong interest in energy / infrastructure investingAbility to manage multiple workstreams in a high-responsibility, execution-focused environment
