Diploma or an equivalentAt least one (1) year of experience in mechanical maintenanceRole and ResponsibilitiesProperly clean parts using various methods such as a wire brush, blasting processes, or the use of chemical spraysVisually inspect plated parts for defects and report questionable conditions to the Plating ManagerSet up and maintain racks, machines and tanks for operationAdjust controls, temperatures and speed of equipmentMaintain work records including reading and interpreting technical data, signing off on work performed, and managing time in jobs.Mix and test solutionsMeasure, mark and mask areas of parts to be excluded from platingProcess various parts through their wet chemical process using proper chemical disciplinesImmerse metal parts into chemical solutions using a hoistMeasure and maintain the proper thickness of coating using calibrated toolsHang parts to immerse and dryPlace plated parts into the industrial oven to dry for a specified timeCompliance with safety and health protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment as required.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized mannerCoordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standardsSkills And AbilitiesBasic blueprint readingBasic math skills equivalent to 8th grade arithmeticProficient in the English language, verbally and writtenPerformance managementMulti-taskAttention to detailManual dexterityManeuver arms and legs and whole body to handle objectsStraight pull and push, pull hand over handReach above shouldersRepeat bending and/or climbAble to lift and/or carry up to 50 poundsVision abilities required: Near, distant, color, peripheral, depth perceptionThis position is safety sensitive and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulationsFlexibility to work any shiftPosition PPE RequirementsCompliance with safety and health protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment as required.If you would like to see your career take flight, apply today!Aersale is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
