Cloud Computing SpecialistUSA Term: Project Based or Part Time Job Description: Provide systems engineering and infrastructure architecture for a cloud-based SaaS financial technology platform Proactively manage the IT infrastructure, AWS infrastructure, and datacenter networking Manage servers, networks, and operating systems to ensure availability and reliability Perform build outs, deployments, and migrations Design web infrastructure for redundancy, coherency and coordination with internal developers Design and implement applications for scale Build AWS infrastructure utilizing cloud formation, autoscaling, ELBs, S3, Cloudfront, etc. Develop and implement standards for applications, security, and communication Create standard process for distributing applications to servers Spearhead storage engineering and evaluate storage strategy globally Qualifications: College degree in computer science or related field Extensive knowledge of cloud computing and networking, hosted services, software security, cyber security, disaster recovery, network design, and deployment Programming: Python, PHP, SQL, PERL, C++, XML, XHTML, Ruby Operating Systems: Unix, Linux, Redhat, CentOS Cloud: AWS, VPC, AWS EC2, CDN Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Ability to radiate a calm and professional demeanor Self-motivated, analytical, and articulate To apply for this position, email your resume in PDF format to Careers@Fortex.com.
