Ortho-Trauma Service in beautiful Northern California islooking for a full-time Board Certified/BoardEligibleOrthopaedic Trauma Surgeonto join hospital-based practice.Join a well-established groupHospital-based clinic with zero overheadEmergency Department sees an averageof 80,000 patients per yearSchedule is roughly 12-16 shifts per month (6-8 Call shifts; 6-8 Back-Up shifts)Call shifts (24 hours) cover the OR cases and ER/inpatient consultsBack-up shifts (roughly 8 hours) cover rounds, clinic and over-flow OR cases24 hour Physician Assistant coverage for clinic and ER/Inpatient calls and consults, 7 days a week 12 hour Physician Assistant coverage in the Operating Room, Monday through FridayDedicated Orthopaedic clinic, staffed with Advanced Practitioners, technicians, non-surgical OrthopaedistsGenerous compensation package and medical liability malpractice costs covered by the medical centerQualifications:Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopaedic Trauma SurgeryFellowship training in Orthopaedic TraumaThe 300 bed nonprofit hospital 1.5 hrs north of Sacramento recentlycompleteda $178 million expansion and offers wide-ranging support services.
