5G ORAN Customer Specific Lab Testing & Lab Support- Working Student

We are seeking a dedicated working student to join our dynamic team at Verification department. As part of our Nokia Ulm Verification team, you will play a crucial role in customer-specific verification testing and lab operations support for 5G Mobile Networks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the cutting-edge field of 5G telecommunications.Execute test cases and procedures for 5G Mobile Networks verification testing on customer-specific configurations.Document test results, identify defects, and support defect tracking processes.Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of lab equipment, including 5G base stations and mobile devices.Perform basic hardware troubleshooting to ensure lab readiness for 5G testing.Manage lab inventory and asset tracking efficiently.Assist in maintaining and optimizing lab operations for efficient testing.Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth testing processes and timely delivery of results.Stay updated with the latest advancements in 5G technology and industry trends.Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Telecommunications, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Basic knowledge of 5G Mobile Networks and a willingness to learn and support lab maintenance tasks.Good programming/scripting skills in Python or a similar automation environment.Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for learning and growth.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Availability for a minimum of 6 months, with a potential extension option.Willingness to work on-site in the Ulm office regularly, with some flexibility for partial home-office work.A keen interest in the telecommunications industry and a desire to contribute to its advancement.Optional: testing or hardware maintenance experienceSome of our benefits:Flexible and hybrid working schemesWell-being programs to support your mental and physical healthOpportunities to join and receive support from Nokia Employee Resource Groups (NERGs)Employee Growth Solutions to support your personalized career & skills developmentDiverse pool of Coaches & Mentors to whom you have easy accessA learning environment which promotes personal growth and professional development - for your role and beyondLearn about additional benefits in specific countries.Advancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era.
