Security Alarm, Cameras & Door Access Control TechnicianLocation: Raleigh, NC Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Operations Manager / PresidentJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Security Alarm, Cameras & Door Access Control Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with alarm systems, card access systems, CCTV, and low-voltage wiring. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, and test security alarm systemsInstall and configure door access control systems (card readers, keypads, mag locks, electric strikes)Install, program, and test camera systemsRun and terminate low-voltage wiring (CAT6, 18/2, 22/4, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair alarm, access control, and CCTV systemsIntegrate systems with monitoring servicesRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layoutsEnsure installations meet local, state, and national code requirementsProvide on-site customer training and supportMaintain accurate documentation of work performedRespond to service calls and emergency repairs as needed Qualifications5+ years of experience in alarm and access control installation (preferred)Knowledge of commercial security systemsExperience with low-voltage wiring and system troubleshootingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver’s license and clean driving recordStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders Preferred ExperienceExperience with systems such as Honeywell, DSC, Keyscan, Brivo, Axis or similar platformsFamiliarity with IP-based access control systems & camera systemsBasic networking knowledgeRelevant certifications (NICET, ESA, manufacturer certifications) Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Company vehicle Health insurancePaid time offOngoing training and certification opportunities How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief summary of your experience to drosa@trminc.net
